As most all of you who would be reading this probably know, I had, up until today, yet again come down with a dire case of LACK OF INTERBUTTS.
This case had been going for a good three weeks now, and it was very much so making me sick; on a side note, I actually am feeling kind of sick, as the lack of interbutts required me to walk outside, to the student center, EVERY TIME I NEEDED TO CHECK MY MAIL OR TURN IN HOMEWORK. That’s a lot of going outside, and it’s FREAKING COLD OUT. Getting the sniffles is basically bound to happen.
So, what am I going to do now that I have my interbutts back? Probably just loaf about like I used to. Honestly, the most annoying thing about not having regular internet access, at least for me, is that I do not have something to occupy my mind with.
Music’s nice, but I can’t ever JUST LISTEN to music, I have to be doing something else.
Video games are also nice, but I can’t do that while my roommates are using the projector, and I also have a hard time picking a game up after I haven’t touched it for a while. (there’s a reason I still haven’t beaten Odin Sphere, Soul Nomad, or Makai Kingdom, and it’s not that they’re bad games; they are AMAZING)
Books are also good (I read through Neverwhere and am reading through Stardust) but they go by so quickly that they’re practically negligible.
Spending time with friends is great but I can’t do it when they have to do homework, and I also can’t just call them up in the middle of the night to hang out.
I tried working on a game project, but I found that I am more or less completely unable to put out a game without support (and testing) by other people, so I gave up on that.
Tasking on sf0 would be great but I couldn’t really think of anything to do, and I don’t like to force a task.
So, basically, I was HOPELESSLY BORED for 90% of the time I was without internet. I got to sit around being upset with the fact that I didn’t have internet, that things aren’t going quite how I’d like in anything else, really, and that I honestly don’t know how I’m going to afford LIVING DOWN HERE next year.
If you've enjoyed anything I've said here, why don't you consider donating to the Buy Ian a Tea fund? You can donate whatever you'd like, and it will go toward keeping me awake and aware longer so I can make more posts!

Yup, I blog. Not terribly much, but I do.
Which reminds me, I should write something up about spring break.
